HELLO!!!

hahahaha i am back from maldives, and it was really nothing short of amazing! :D 10 days really flew by so quickly! and now i'm back to boring mundane school life, no more waking up only to slap on sunblock, use unflushable toilets, and rush to the eating place only to find that we're early, then go to the worksite, do a bit of work, play netball/football with the locals and have very very VERY romantic dinners and then play jackass/fortune telling/bridge til we could hardly open our eyes ):

oh man maldives was really an experience in every way; this is one trip i'll never forget. this trip really made me open my eyes to more important things. and i've got to know fellow ips and the jc people a lot better. there's just something about being thrown into somewhere totally foreign that makes you bond so much more. and i swear, i've never laughed so much in 10 days before. hahaha we really make the silliest and most inane thing so hilarious that it'll crack us up for days. like the whole CARROT thing. (:

and the warmth of the people there. people there are so genuine and NICE. when we get cravings for coke or some sort of food at the weirdest of times, we would just knock on the door of the adjoining house and the owners would gladly open the shop just for us. and though there's some sort of a language barrier, i think there's something transcends that. very nice (:

besides PICTURES, my black book that i bought from one of the island shops is also one of the more treasured things i have right now. cos we all decided that we should get books for people to write in to make sure we don't forget. and although the monster nush vandalized it.. it's still good la haha.
